At Queen of Hearts Thoroughbred Retirement, we often become aware of horses that have behavioral issues or that need to be relocated for many different reasons.  Inquires on our QHTR website, and on our Facebook page lead us to further our mission in order to find solutions for these horses when we can. Through networking we have been able to help several horses.

We sometimes post horses for other people in order to help to get the word out. Network horses are available, but are not on sight a the Queen of Hearts Thoroughbred Retirement facility.   If someone has an interest in one of these horses, please contact us, and we will forward your information to the owner or rescue group trying to place them.  Network horses will be posted as we become aware of them. A networking team is being formed so that we can reach out to help horses and owners needing us.

Networking will also facilitate finding  foster homes or permanent homes for racehorses that need to be rescued.  Since our Queen of Hearts Thoroughbred Retirement facility has limited space for accepting retired racehorses, this team will be very important.

We are continuing to grow our team, looking for people who can advocate for horses that cannot remain in their present environment.  We are also looking for more  people who have the facilities to shelter and care for these horses until more permanent arrangements can be made.  If you would like to join our networking team, contact us with your information and ideas.
